NewsNew Heller Ovens Installation CompleteWORLD has upgraded the last of its antiquated 10-zone relow ovens to brand new Heller 1809S 16-Zone Convection Reflow Ovens. The 16-Zone is state of the art technology and allows the proper reflow of RoHS assemblies. With this latest equipment upgrade, WORLD now has 4 identical SMT lines in its Reading facility and surpasses all local and regional CM's in output capacity. New Electrovert board washer Installation was a Success!WORLD has replaced its old board washer with a top of the line Electrovert Aquastream 200 Torrid Storm cleaning system. The Aquastream 200 Torrid Storm is designed for water soluable and saponified aqueous applications. It has a PC controlled, Windows user interface with data logging capabilities and product traceability (barcode) capability. This addition to WORLD's production line enhances our ability to better serve our client base. Board washing is one of many "Value Added" services that is provided to our customers. WORLD is ITAR registered!WORLD electronics is registered with the U.S. Department of State pursuant to the Arms Export Control Act (AECA) and the Internaional Traffic In Arms Regulation (ITAR), as of January 12, 2009. WORLD achieves ISO Certification!!!!After a little more than a year of arduous work, spear headed largely by Ed Fitzsimmons, WORLDs VP of manufacturing; Tom Barley, QC manager; and Dave Bolig, a process engineer- WORLD electronics has attained full ISO 9001:2000 certification. WORLD will use this certification as an invitation to medical device manufactures to consider WORLD electronics for their turnkey production, as well as to compliment and/or benefit their exisiting customers product lines.
